Bread Medu Vada

                          Bread Medu Vada is an indian snack.I have bread in my kitchen and i
                          tried this new recipe.It is easy and simple vada made with bread. No need
                          of soaking dals. No need to grind. It is Bread Medu Vada.
                                                                                                                                                       
INGREDIENTS:7 bread slices
                          1/2 cup Yoghurt
                          Baking soda a pinch
                          salt to taste
                          1 tsp ginger finely chopped
                          Green chili finely chopped
                           Coriander leaves
                           1/2 onion finely chopped
                           Curry Leaves
                           1cup peanuts
METHOD1.Cut the egdes of the bread slices and cut each slices into four pieces.Place them
                      into a deep bowl. 
                 2.Add curd to the bowl.Mix well and mash the bread with your hands.
                 3.Add baking soda,ginger,chillies,coriander leaves,onion,peanuts and curryleaves.   
                 4.Mix well to form a dough.Dampen your palm and roll each portion in round shape
                    balls.
                 .5.Flatten it and make a hole in centre of each round portion like medu vada.
                 6.Heat sufficient oil in a kadhai.Deep fry each vada on low heat till it is golden brown.
                    and drain it.
                 7.Serve hot with chutney or sauce.

Vegetable Manchurian

      Vegetable Manchurian is an chinese dish.This dish is really easy to make.When u eat this deep fried vegetable balls in soya sauce based gravy u love to enjoy eating it "The yummy Food".                             
                                                                                                                                                        
INGREDIENTS: For Vegetable Balls
                           2 cups finely chopped cabbage
                          1/4cup grated carrot
                          finely chopped spring onion
                          3 tbsp corn flour
                          1 tbsp plain flour
                          2 tsp finely chopped garlic
                          1 tsp chopped green chili
                          Salt and black pepper to taste
                          oil for frying
                                                                                                                                                        
                         For Manchurian Sauce
                         2 tbsp oil
                         2 tsp finely chopped garlic
                         2 tsp finely  choped  ginger
                         1 tbsp chopped spring onions
                         1 tbsp chopped  capsicum
                         2 tsp dark soy sauce
                         2 tbsp cornflour dissolve in one cup of water
                         2 pinches of sugar
                         Salt to taste 
METHOD:Mix maida,cornflour,chopped vegetable,green chili,red chili sauce ,salt garlic and coriander leaves.Mix well and make balls out of mixture.Heat the oil add garlic,green chili,onion.Mix cornflour ,water,soy sauce for gravy.Add vegetables to pan and fry.Add cornflour mixture to the pan and mix.Add sugar,chili sauce, vinegar,salt,water,green chili.Boil the gravy.Add the fry manchurian balls and mix well and cook well for some time.Now serve hot.

Masala Bhat

Masala Bhat is an Maharashtrian Dish. In this recipe the rice is assorted with vegetables.            
                                                                                                                                                                   INGREDIENTS:10/2cup basmati rice                                                                
                            Salt to taste
                            8 to 10 tindli
                            6 to  7 dry red chili
                            2 to 3  tbsp coriander seeds
                            1/2 cup dry coconut grated
                            1 teaspoon cumin seed  
                            4 tbsp oil
                            5 to 6 cloves
                            2 to 3 green cardamom
                            2 Bay leaves
                            1 teaspoon turmeric powder
                            10 cashewnuts roasted
                            1/4 bunch of coriander leaves
                            2 tablespoon coconut scraped
                            Brinjal cubed 3 to 4 medium
                            Carrots cubed 2 to 4 medium                                                      
                                       
 METHOD: Soak rice in water for thirty minutes.Drain and set aside.Soak the brinjal cubes in salt water.Cut tendli into four pieces length wise.Roast whole red chili,coriander seeds,grated dry cocount and cumin seperately.and then grind into fine paste.with a little water.Heat oil in a pan. Add cloves, cardamom, bay leaves and stir fry for few seconds.Add vegetables and turmeric powder cook further for two to three minutes.Add rice and mix gently.Add three cups of boiling water.Season with salt.Cook on high heat for five minutes stirring frequently.Bring to boil and then reduce heat and continue to cook until rice is done and all the water is absorbed.Remove from heat.and serve hot with roasted cashewnuts,chopped coriander leaves
and scraped coconut.

Strawberry Short Cake Parfaits (Mini Triffles)


These creamy and smoothy parfaits taste as they good as they look.U can eat strawberry parfaits as a Dessert. Here's comes the recpie:

INGREDIENTS:
1 cup fresh stawberries
1/4cup white sugar
1(3.4oz) instant vanilla puddings
Pound cake
Fresh whipped cream

METHOD: Wash and hull the strawberries. Cut into the pieces and add in the sugar.Stir to coat the berries. Let stir for 30 to 20 minutes.While they are macerating perparing instant pudding.To assemble the mini triffles place a slice of pound cake in bottom of glass,put a spoonful of pudding on the top of the cake.Next place spoonful of macerated stawberries and finished layered with whipped cream.Repeat using another round of pound cake ,another spoonful of pudding,another spoonful of stawberries and finally top with nice rosegette of whipped cream on top.Repeat until u run out of ingredients.Store in refrigerator. Serve chilled and enjoy"''

Rava Dosa

Rava dosa is an south indian dish.It is thin and crispy like flat bread.Rava dosa are fast to make and they can be served in breakfast and u can eat it as a snack. Sambhar is  spicy lentil (Tuvar Dal).with is made with variety of vegetables u can put in it. One can say that  Every south indian dish is yummmy and it is incomplete without sambhar.So here ur  recipe:

INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup sooji
1/2 cup rice flour
1/2 teaspoon jeera
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon hara dhaniya
2 green chili chopped
2 cups of water

METHOD:
1. Mix all two flours.Make a thin batter using a little water at a time.and see any lumps don't come inside the batter.
2. Now u can add all other ingredients to the batter including cumin seeds,cilantro,green chili. u can mix it well Leave the batter for 30 minutes.
3. Heat the Dosa pan on the medium.Ucan check if the dosa pan is hot u can put few drops of water. If the water drops sizzle.It means the dosa pan is hot.
4. Now u add few drops of oil on dosa pan.Pour the batter with (karchi) over the dosa pan in circular motion so that batter can cover the  whole Dosa pan.
5. U even don't try to spread the batter otherwise the shape of the dosa will not come.
6. Now u can again put some oil  around dosa.(1teaspoon oil)
7. See from the (karchi) that dosa have become golden brown from down.
8. Now u can turn the dosa that it become golden brown from other sides.(let dosa cook for1 minute.)
9. Now u can serve dosa with yummy sambhar, chutneys.
10. Enjoy the taste of Rava Dosa.

Karela with Stuffed Oats (Bitter Gourd)

karela with stuffed oats: I knew that many people didn't like this vegetable due to its bitterness.I request everybody to try this recipe .So please give this a try and let me know ur views.This go well with Indian chapati or parantha.

INGREDIENTS:
5-10 bittergourd
1 medium sliced onion
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 tsp oil
1 tsp salt
7 big tablespoon oats
1 tsp(amchur powder)
1 tbsp(corriander powder)
1 tsp (red chili powder)
5 tsp water
1 tsp(turmericpowder)

METHOD:
Peel off bitter gourd skin and remove the seeds from inside.Cut the bittergourd into halves if they are big in size.Rub the bittergourd from outside and inside with the salt.and rest for an hour atleast.This will remove bitterness from bittergourd.Then take a bowl add all spices. mix it. Then put olive oil in a pan put turmeric powder,cumin powder,7cups oats. Then roast it Put some water in it. For ur taste u can add tamarind paste.Then put oats inside karela.Now put the karela in the oven.for 10 minutes. Then they are ready.Serve hot once bittergourd turns soft and oil separates.

Pav Bhaji



Pav Bhaji is an Indian favourite food snack. Pav means buns and bhaji means mixed vegetables.So here comes the recipe.

INGREDIENTS:
4 medium potato peeled
1 chopped cauliflower
1/2cups carrots
1/2cups peas
1/2cupsbeans
4 tablespoon oil
4 tablespoon butter
3 green chili chopped
4 medium chopped tomatoes
1/2tsp red chili powder
1/2tsp turmeric powder
2 tsp salt 
1tsp lemon juice
1/3cup cilantro leaves
6 bread buns                        

METHOD:
1. Boil the vegetables carrots,beans,peas in about 1/2 cup of water.
2. When vegetables become soft drain the water and mash them gently with fork.
3. Heat the oil in the frying pan on medium heat .Then add tomatoes, green chili,saute for 2 to 3 minutes.
4. Add red chili powder,and turmeric then mix it well.Then u add mash vegetables and saute for 5-6 minutes.
5. Now u can add salt,1tablespoon ghee.Stir for 3 minutes.After that u can add 1/3cup of water.
6. Get it cooked for few minutes.Now u can turn off the heat.Sprinkle some garam masala and lemon juice. After that u switch on the heat put butter on each pav and make it hot until they are in golden brown colour.
7. Serve hot with tomato sauce or chutney.

Moong Dal Vada

 Moong Dal Vada

Moong dal vada is an indian snack.This is perfect snack in rainy season.It can be served with mint or tamarind chutney. Here the recipe:
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup moong dal
2 tsp chopped cilantro
1 green chili to taste
1 tbsp grated ginger
1 teaspoon salt to taste
1 teaspoon red chili powder
Oil for frying

METHOD:
Wash and soak Dal in about 3 cups of water from 3 to 4 hours.Grind the dal coarsely using very little water.Add all the ingredients to the dal batter,green chili,ginger,salt,red chili powder. Beat the batter for 2 to 3 minutes.This will make the batter light.Add the water if needed,batter should not be soft not to much thick.If the batter is thick the vadas will be hard.Heat oil in a Frying pan on medium heat.To check if the oil is hot put one drop of batter.The batter will sizzle and come up.Put one tbsp of batter into oil.Then fry the vadas in small portions.Fry the vadas until they become golden brown in colour from all sides.Serve hot with mint or tamarind chutney.
